The Kujira takes its name from the Japanese word for whale, and its design borrows directly from one: the revolutionary tubercle design mimics the pectoral fin of the humpback whale, known for its agility, power, and efficiency. Incorporated into both the front and back wing shape, these whale-inspired bumps deliver an enormous improvement in lift, glide, stability, and comfort in flight.
Full Carbon, Signature Winglets
Takuma's signature upturned winglets are built into the Kujira, giving the foil more efficient glide and lift with significantly less drag. Full carbon wings deliver maximum stiffness, strength, and durability, and the benefits are immediately noticeable, even to non-professional foilers.
Five Sizes, One Range
The 750 is built for expert or lightweight riders chasing extreme performance and tight-turn carving (recommended with BW 158). The 980 delivers killer all-condition performance with smooth, stable control (BW 178). The 1095 is built for endless gliding with fast top-end speed (BW 178). The 1210 is the all-around choice with fantastic pumping and control (BW 178). The 1440 is an absolute downwind machine for heavier riders (BW 220).
